When Jon Richardson designed a bag to enter into a entrepreneur contest at his university, little did he know he was creating one of the leading brands in the disc golf market. His story is a wandering path of the many ways Jon struggled to manage cash flow and devised ways to scrap Upper Park Disc Golf together for years, even while working as the Marketing Director at Discraft, and eventually how selling his business was everything he ever wanted. In this episode, Kate talks with one of the founders and eventual sole-owner of Upper Park Designs about the years of work it took to maintain the brand, a journey that led to him selling his business in 2020.
